Props to both of you. Excellent job. I can't even imagine how awesome you two feel after a transformation like that. Keep it up! TheRyanator Fri, September 8th, 2006, 12:45 PM Hey Crazy! What a change, I cannot even believe that is you, and you look about 20 years younger from start to finish. To be at 12% body fat is to prove that nothing is impossible when it comes to the human body. I have seen you around on some other boards and always been impressed with your progress, welcome to JSF! AndiMAC Fri, September 8th, 2006, 01:03 PM I wanted to ask the both of you (crazy and grace) about skin. You both look very tight. Did you have any issues with sagging skin as you were losing? IM kind of concerned about this. Especially in the arms and belly area. akm3 Fri, September 8th, 2006, 03:50 PM Just wanted to pop in and say "DAMN!" You look great and fantastic job!!! WAY TO GO!!!!!! :tucool: -Allen Crazy_Enough Fri, September 8th, 2006, 07:46 PM I wanted to ask the both of you (crazy and grace) about skin. You both look very tight. Did you have any issues with sagging skin as you were losing? IM kind of concerned about this. Especially in the arms and belly area. As far as Im concerned, arms filled up with muscle, so I spared saggy skin in that area, but do have lotsa stretch marks. My belly is another story...Lower tummy and inner thighs (as u can see in transfo pics, legs refused to tighten up anymore) are plagued. Im lucky enou8gh that when bf% is real low, skin can be tucked in a suit bottom, and thats the way Ill do my first comp. I would recommend daily flax oil intake, lotsa care for your skin and a slow, paced fat loss to avoid these issues...No escaping it completely tho when one is 350 + pounds  GraceGirl Fri, September 8th, 2006, 08:34 PM As far as Im concerned, arms filled up with muscle, so I spared saggy skin in that area, but do have lotsa stretch marks. My lower belly (a c-sec one at that), and my inner thighs are my problem areas. You can't see it though at all unless I were to strut around in a bikini, which I would NEVER do, HA! Most people are in awe because I can wear form-fitting clothes, and they're like, "Wow, no sags anywhere!!" Even so, my problems aren't nearly what people might perceive after losing an entire person. Most of what people thing are rolls and rolls of loose skin is just skin AND remaining fat. I do have some as mentioned above, and also stretch marks, but the problem is really minimal. And I'd much rather have all that than a 100 pounds of fat!! |
