I know it's hard to imagine eating late in the evening while you're cutting, but this little snack can be very healthy as well as tasty. Try 3/4 cup of non-fat cottage cheese with a sliced pear or apple. The sweetness and crisp texture of the pear/apple helps mitigate the texture of cottage cheese. Pears and apples are low in calories (around 60-70 kcal) and are also low GI fruits. The cottage cheese provides plenty of slow-releasing protein (about 13g per 1/2 cup!). You get about 200 calories of quality protein & low-GI carbs for bedtime!
