1FastGTX Tue, August 1st, 2006, 07:05 PM To start with your calories are way too low, and you need to find veggies that you like. Salad? Green beans?
babyfacebadboyy Tue, August 1st, 2006, 07:08 PM so i should go 2200 to 2500 calories?
And as for veggies, That is really a no go, I tried to eat veggies before but for some reason i have a huge gag relex, I mean i can try, but very hard.
Could I loss weight without veggies?
cyclone Tue, August 1st, 2006, 10:30 PM You can take greens in pill form. I take Garden of Life Perfect Food super green. It's basically compressed veggies. 5 pills is equiv to 10 servings of veg. I eat veggies too, but I HATE them. You definitely need something green going in.
babyfacebadboyy Tue, August 1st, 2006, 10:33 PM so does my diet look good, and i can take these pills for the veggie value ?
Thrust Wed, August 2nd, 2006, 12:41 AM I'm curious to know about the multi-grain pancakes and sugar-free syrup. I'm a HUGE fan of pancakes/syrup but have given them up due to my cut, if I could eat these it would really make me smile :D

8 hours spent lifting? A week?
babyfacebadboyy Wed, August 2nd, 2006, 01:16 AM The mix i use is Arrowhead Mills Multigrain pancake and waffle mix
here is the nutritional facts
http://www.calorie-count.com/calories/item/82919.html
And sugar free syrup is found i think in any store.
and no its not 8 hours a week, its more like 3 hours a week, 1 hour per lifting session.
The days i do both cardio and lifting i make sure i have a 8 hour span between the 2.
Can anyone answer my other questions about my diet ? HA HA
Unless it looks pretty solid?
Thanks.

Thanks for the info on the pancakes! I don't "do" cheat meals but it looks like I may be able to trick myself into considering this as a cheat meal this weekend!!
Fernslinger Wed, August 2nd, 2006, 03:34 PM If it was me I would shoot for a caloric intake 10 time your body weight. I would also drop the pork rinds. I agree with everyone else, you gotta get some veggies. There are tons out there. Try a bunch until you find one you like.
babyfacebadboyy Wed, August 2nd, 2006, 03:42 PM Ok so the pills will not work?
And how much veggies we talking about?
yeah i am going to up my calorie intake to 2200 around
TarSeal Wed, August 2nd, 2006, 04:56 PM No the pills won't sub for veggies. Supplement yes, substitute no. There's basically no good fiber whatsoever in your diet. Almost everything is processed. Your colon may need some freshening up...
You're going to have to learn to prepare and eat fresh vegetables to improve much. We're talking about veggies at most meals. What have you tried lately? Can you eat those little baby carrots? Broccoli? Salad? Green beans? Corn? Peppers? Squash? Onions? Tomatoes? Greens? Not even potatoes? ...Cabbage?
babyfacebadboyy Wed, August 2nd, 2006, 06:25 PM I am willing to try veggies and try to force it down, i know after sometime i guess i will get use to it.
I tried baby carrots with fat free ranch and i think i did ok.
So please help me and tell me what processed foods to get rid of and what things to add.
this is what i need help on. I know i need veggies. but i need more information. If not i will stick with what i have and just add veggies with every meal and thoughout the day.
Thanks for the repsonces

You sound very similiar to me. My old motto used to be "Vegetables are what food eats". Over the past year or so I've slowly become accustomed to eating vegetables and have grown quite fond of them. Here is how that process started.
I know it doesn't make sense to most but fruits were like my introductory to eating vegetables. Eating fruit help me "prepare" for eating vegetables, similiar prepartation (washing, etc.), similiar time till spoilage, and simliar health benefits. I also try to buy NOTHING but organic fruits and vegetables. I started out eating bananas and grapes. I had always like both of these but usually would opt for something else for the sake of convience (okay, bananas are convenient). I also incorportaed cantaloupe, honey dew, watermellon, and most recently fresh cherries into my diet. These are all tasty treats and can be quite the replacement for no-no's such as my beloved reese cups (R.I.P.).
Moving into vegetables became fairly easy with readily available garden grown corn. I LOVE corn and it's quite tasty grilled, in the shuck, on the grill. I also find baby organic spinach a nice vegetable and it's cheap plentiful and good for you! I sometimes use assorted peppers and onions to add spice to existing dishes. The key here is moderation--don't overwhelm your dish with the peppers/onions, you just need enough for flavor and to leave you wanting more. Also, try some ceasar salads (w/o dressing) they are full of "easy to eat" veggies.
The one vegetable I'll never eat is a tomato. I have a phobia of tomatos and won't eat, cut, peel, or even touch the things. There are few things in life that make me cringe like a tomato.
