I'm at the tail-end of a bulk that's being going quite well. :tucool:

I started off 6 weeks ago at 155lbs and went from an under-nourished calorie count of about 1900cals per day to about 2300. After a couple weeks and very quick gains (161lbs, all muscle & water) I decided to bump it up to 2500 and not shy away from fats quite as much.

I kept with that for about 2 weeks while going up to 164lbs and gaining a bit more fat. Then I inched up to an average of 2600 cals per day this last week and a bit and NOW i'm starting to feel a lot more hungry than usual...

BUT, i'm now at 166lbs, seem to be a bit leaner than a couple of weeks ago (!!!???!!!) AND i've gotten so consistenly hungry that in the last couple of days i'm taking in 3000-3300cals PER DAY, and NO CARDIO, and i'm STILL GETTING HUNGRY. ???!!!!!

When i say i'm still getting hungry, i mean i'm eating ALL OF THE TIME. And an hour later i feel i need to eat at LEAST av200-300 Cal meal. This has also been continuing into the night (wake up... HUNGRY @*#&#*$&$!).

....

You get the picture? The problem is that i've never had a big apetite, I am an endomorph and have gone much of my life a little overweight with sometimes only 1700cals in one day. I just finally got used to eating up to 2200 in the last year while maintaining my BF%.

The other part of the problem is my appetite got so huge so suddenly while I was still making significant gains off of far less calories the last few weeks... following the exact same training routine i might add (MAX-OT).

I have a very balanced macro intake that i am always monitoring also. So i have no clue why this is happening... any theories....??

So, you're getting lots of protein and good fats?

Maybe your appetite was suppressed bofore when you weren't eating a whole lot, and now it's going "Hey, we're eating more now? Well then by all means, FEED ME."

Your body is sure telling you something. If you're able to keep the fat/muscle ratio 1:1, you are kicking some ass. Even at 2:1, you shouldn't stop eating.

If you want to bulk, and you are making consistent gains, by all means, eat. You'll have enough time to cut calories later on.

Plenty, I think. Averaging 260g Protein, and about 70g Fat (lots of fish, nuts, seeds, olive oil... the good stuff... mostly)

Well, it didn't seem supressed. For over 4 weeks I was eating a little more and more and it felt right and I wasn't GETTING hungry because I was eating just enough. But now i'm always getting hungry and eating far more.

It did occur to me that I am the heaviest i've ever been and maybe my body just caught up and said "ok pal we're going to start needing a lot more calories for this extra weight"... but still... so suddenly? I feel wierd being "... a remorseless eating machine... arrrrrrrrr"

Yeah that's kind of the attitude i'm taking. I'm not going to do another half-assed bulk because now I know the fat sheds pretty quick when i'm done. Plus I haven't gained much fat anyways. I've decided i'll keep eating according to my appetite and if I stop seeing significant muscle gains (or only see fat piling on), i'll adjust. But I only have 2 more weeks in my bulk... Maybe i'll extend it though. Its all up in the air.
