View Full Version : Breakfast
Skaterman6886 Sun, July 16th, 2006, 11:32 PM I need a suggestion, when I eat breakfast sometimes I feel ill. I'm trying to take my multi-vitamin in the morning and at night, but im not sure if I take it before or after the meal. When I skip breakfast and take my multi-vitamin it makes my stomach uncomfortable all day. I need a meal for breakfast that might not make my stomach ache. If you know a good meal for taking it at night that would be helpful also.
Marc80 Sun, July 16th, 2006, 11:36 PM Take the vitamin after a meal. I get nauseous too when I take multi-vitamins on an empty stomach.
About feeling ill after taking breakfast, what do you usually eat? Have you been skipping breakfast all this while?
Skaterman6886 Sun, July 16th, 2006, 11:46 PM Its been a while since I've ate a good breakfast. I want to start eating it though since it's so important. My last breakfast I tried to eat a bowl of cereal and got sick about half way. I know cereal isn't good but I didn't know what else to eat.

dodus Mon, July 17th, 2006, 02:59 AM Getting the body accustomed to breakfast can be tough. When I started eating healthy it was all I could do to get down a bowl of Kashi. Now breakfast is my biggest and most exciting meal of the day. If you can't do protein powder and oats, try eggs. Bust out the ubiquitous "clean list" and start experimenting to find what you CAN do. Breakfast can be optimized later--the important thing is to get your body ready for morning calories in general. If you can't do a lot at first, do what you can. Keep at it.
michael2938 Mon, July 17th, 2006, 10:42 AM Right now I'm eating scrambled eggs, bacon, slice of fat free cheese on a whole wheat english muffin.
It's probably not the best, but it works for me. When I first started eating breakfast I had a hard time adjusting. I used to never eat breakfast because I wasn't hungry and I'd get a sick feeling when I tried. I slowly got used to it, and now I don't have any problems eating in the morning.
Joeythelark Thu, July 20th, 2006, 03:18 PM when i started my weightloss journey several years ago, one of the toughest things for me was forcing down a breakfast before 8 am. At the time, I had not eaten anything in a day until at least 12 noon for at least 20 yrs. I literally got nauseaous when I tried. The way I overcame this was to start eating something healthy earlier and earlier every morning until I worked my way up to eating right after waking up. Now, I cannot possibly get by without breakfast for more than one hour after I wake up. Hope this helps.
1esotericguy Thu, July 20th, 2006, 04:32 PM 6 eggwhites cooked in a non stick skillet
1/2 cup (dry measured) of oatmeal microwaved (2 min) with a bananna in water
Tablespoon flax oil.
Flop the fried eggwhite on top of the oatmeal, stir up the flax oil. Enjoy.
MEGA CLEAN BALANCED EATING for about .75 cents total. I think that's like 400 calories too. :eat:
