I work over night from 9-7 and my work is physical work im not sitting down all night so would it be better to do it as soon as I get home from work which I have been doing in a fasted state my last meal being around midnight ? or not eat during the day while im assleep get up do my cardio before work and start my eatting pattern while im at work I have been setting my alarm every 2 to 3 hrs to eat during the day and waking up after about 4 hrs after my cardio to lift weights please any ideas will be helpful and im cutting right now thank you.

Let the style and conditions of your cardio, combined with your schedule, dictate when you do it. I greatly prefer fasted cardio just after waking up so that it's out of the way and I can get right into my meal plan. If that works for you, do it.
The important part is that you perform your cardio, perform your weight training, and adhere to your nutrition program. Convenient scheduling will help those things happen. :tu:

The important part is that you perform your cardio, perform your weight training, and adhere to your nutrition program. Convenient scheduling will help those things happen. :tu:Yes, convenience and adherence to a program on a consistent basis trumps any and all other considerations. Putting cardio in an inconvenient time because of some benefits that are not even clearly identifiable and generally agreed upon is a bad idea. I have always trained when is convenient for me and I know that I achieve results better than 9/10 people who may debate all day long about fasted vs non-fasted cardio. If I do fasted, great. If I have to work out at night after supper, I do that, too. Considering how hard it is to stick to something long term, even when doing it at the best of times, it's a terrible idea to make it even less convenient in the hopes of benefitting some tiny amount by its timing.
I think that setting an alarm to wake during sleeping hours to eat extra food is utter lunacy. I really think it's hopelessly over the top and only of any consideration for somebody looking for every and all tweaks to their program. People need to realize, too, that food takes a damn long time to digest. Ever notice how corn may come out a day later? Protein is not assimilated in 3 hours. Just because you're hungry doesn't mean your body is now fuel-less; your intestines probably are still working on plenty inside of them. I also have never appreciated the need to go out of one's way to separate weights and cardio. I generally do that simply because it works out that way, but never deliberately; if I could get both nailed out at once, great.
Those who are the most successful at "this stuff" are those who do it day in and day out. They may miss a day, but get back on the horse right after. They look at the bigger picture. If they're doing it month after month and year after year, they'll achieve far more than somebody who goes balls-out with every tweak known to man and burns himself out.
