So far everything on this board has been great, especially with regard to the a-holes who tend to hang out on internet boards. Very mature, and often, very useful discussions on this board.

But sometimes I think the volume of posts might be too much for John and Lisa to police. I notice equipment queries and whatnot on the weight training board, and other off-topic posts cropping up now and then.

I've been tempted to post in threads and "declare" the thread off-topic, but being a new user and all, I don't think thats my place.

So how about appointing some of the more respected and senior members as moderators.

While Lisa and I are browsing the forum we'll move threads if we notice they are in the wrong place. Also, I try to make a sweep of the board at least once a day to move threads as required. It's not been a problem at all, although there were an abnormal number of posts in the wrong forums today. Still, not a big deal at all.

Because I work from home and Lisa also spends a fair amount of time on the forum, there simply isn't a need for more moderators at this time. Moderators will be added as needed on an invite-only basis.
