Im 22, 64 and 120kg. With a fair amount of fat, mainly on my upper body.
I have recently gone back to the gym with two goals, to lose weight, and to become stronger/ improve general fitness. This is primarily to improve my rugby and also the obvious health reasons.
Although I have only been training for just over a month I have seen noticeable results, which has been a great boost. However, I am at university in the days and work at nights, so my average week looks something like
Mon uni then gym then work
Tues uni then rugby training (mainly running about in the cold and wet!)
Wed uni then gym then work
Thur uni the rugby training
Fri uni then cardio/light weights then work
Sat play rugby then work
Sun sleep!!!
My gym sessions consist of 20min warm up on cross trainer. Weights ( normally 3 sets, 12 10 8, but recently considering MAX OT ) then 10 min row, 15 min run.
I often feel drained and weak for either the gym or training, and would appreaicate any advice with regards to diet, training techniques, whatever really as I dont know a lot about it all, although this site has been very informative.
Thanks
