View Full Version : Selling Equipment? And Discount Treadmills

Hey all,

I really like the Treadmill found at the local Gym. For some reason, I don't get as tired as I do on the one I have at home, and it just seems more comfortable. Plus it has the automated workouts and the heart monitor metal pads... So, I'm thinking of selling my current machine at a garage sale that is up and coming, and go looking for a more expensive model...

Does anyone know a store that sells new, but heavilly discounted treadmills that is reliable? For instance, something that costs $1,000's on other sites, but is discounted to $650 on theirs...but still new in package.. It would have to be able to hold at least 300 pounds, and if possible be lightweight enough to not fall through the second floor :).

finally... Anyone in the Wyckoff NJ area and want to buy a treadmill that cost me $340? :). Not sure what to price these things after they've been used for almost 1.5 years, but if anyone is interested, LMK :).

Thanks!
Neil

I beleive this is the treadmill the Gym has. Obviously I can't afford a 5,000 model, but if anyone knows of a good one that's just as good around $1,000's, let me know..

I don't know about your area, but around here, there are a lot of gym quality treadmills on craigslist- usually owned by someone who bought a super expensive one around new years, never used it, and now is unloading it. I've seen some pretty good deals.

Yeah, some guys at work sell stuff like that. Just don't ask for a receipt or extended warranty plans or ... Just don't ask any questions.

Ever thought about just saving your money and running outside?

I could never bring myself to buy a treadmill for that very reason. The road is [still] free.
