I have been trying to make some soups , with decent protein/carb/fat ratios.
On the pack where it gives you the breakdown of the stock cubes, it all looks quite OK.
Are they really OK to use ?
Thanks

Most stock cubes are pretty high in sodium, due to their use of Monosodium glutamate.
An alternative would be to search up recipes for chicken stock. Make up a huge pot of that, strain and filter it, and you can freeze your own chicken stock in ice cube trays. This way, you get to control what goes into your chicken/meat stock, and it tastes much better anyway.

Thanks for the chicken stock suggestion !
What I have got so far is this....
100gms Lentils ( 304 cals, 23.8g Protein, 53.2g Carbs, 1g Fat)
2 Ham Stock Cubes ( 62 Cals, 2.4g Protein, 4.8g Carbs, 3.8g Fat)
100g Fresh Peas ( 68 Cals, 6.9g protein, 6.6g Carbs, 1.5g Fat)
1 litre water.
Once it is all blended, If you get say 3 bowls out of that, I figure the breakdown will be.
Per Bowl
145 Calories
11g Protein
21.5g Carbs
2.1g Fat.
Any other improvements I could make along with the chicken stock ?
Thanks
