Background:
On a cutting regime. Have dropped from 282 to 232 in about 16 months. In those 16 months, I haven't been exactly disciplined, and thus I've not been as efficient as others.
Current:
I'm definitely in the process of cutting now, and having been working out on a fairly dilligent schedule, I've managed to set into a routine (not rut, heh). I'm going to continue cutting for the next 5 months, on a cycle-within-a-cycle type of routine [4 weeks on, 1 week off].
What this Whole Post is About:
Those wishing to increase their metabolism (although this particular discussion will probably have it's opponents and proponents), effect higher than normal energy levels and basically increase their stamina and ability to continue a normal day in the face of (what I'm doing) 2 workouts 5 days a week [all cardio], can try the following:
-AM-
Caffeine [No Doz] 200mg
Aspirin [Bayer, 125mg]
Ginseng, 1 Caplet
Green Tea Extract [2 capsules, unsure of the dose, sorry]
Yohimbine [2 capsules, again, need to verify dosage]
Yerbamate [2 caps --- lol, need to get this under wraps, I know]
Guarana [1 cap, again, don't know dosage]
-PM-
Repeat, although if I want to sleep, sometimes half the dosage.
Comments:
Although the Ginseng (Ginsana brand) probably isn't a factor in this 'stack', I do consider it mentally invigorating. Anywho, let's discuss this for a second, shall we?
Energy: Off the freaking charts. I've had the ECA (Ephedrine [25mg], Caffeine [200mg] and Aspirin [125mg]) stack before, and it made me feel jittery -- like I just downed 5 shots of expresso. THIS STACK (which I made myself), is just about the legal equivalent of methamphetamine [just kidding, don't know].
But, seriously? It's amazing. I will be posting pictures at the end of my cut. I am presently 230, and hope to be down to 180 at the end (5 months from now). Yeah, that' 2.5 pounds per week, but my diet, sleep, nutrition, hydration and now supplementation is in check.
By the way, I do take ALOT of other supplements, but their all natural (EFAs, TriFlex for joints, Multi's, etc).
What the Stack Looks Like:

Explanation of Pic:
Clockwise, STARTING wth yellow/white tab (approx 3pm):
3pm: Yellow/white Tab: Caffeine [NoDoz] and Aspirin
Caffeine: You can drink a cup of Starbucks, get brown teeth and kill your gut with liquid, or you can take a cap of NoDoz (TM) and get 1/2 the effect. A Grande (the medium size) cup of Java from the 'Bucks will net you 550mg, while this is 1/2 (less, actually). Not bad, eh?
Aspirin: Known to be a blood thinner, and generally good for your heart. Of course, please check with your doctor before you take my advice about consuming this powerful drug.
5pm: Good old Vitamin C from GNC (500mg)
6pm: EFA (MultiOil from GNC, Omega 3/6/9) QTY 2
7pm: 2 Capsules of Chondroitin/Glucosamine/MSM
9pm: YERBAMATE - 2 Caps (Good lord this stuff is powerful)
11pm: Yohimbine (Yohimbe) - 2 Caps
12'o'clock: Green Tea Extract with ECGC (Is that a typo?) Qty 2
1pm: Guarana x 2
Mid-'o'-clock: Ginseng (2 vendors, so diff colors)
Well, lemme know what you think. Again, if you're a first time herbal meth addict (JUST KIDDING!) you should probably go with one dose per day, probably right after lunch, or right before lunch.
Cautions and Warnings:
(1) Stomach upsets are not uncommon, but again, its MUCH less than ECA, trust me.
(2) Drink a MINIMUM of enough water to bring you to the bathroom once every 2 hours. I visit the bathroom once an hour during the day, and probably once or twice per night. I've yet to see a study (and I'm sure I'll see one from someone here) that proves too much water is a bad thing (and, heh, not drowning folks) -- but I do drink about 8 to 10 liters of water EACH day.
(3) You can honestly feel the different the first day. About day 3, you'll feel a bit more normal. Day 5 (which is the last day out of 7 you should take this) you feel almost regular, just with a bit more energy. You'll learn to channel this energy throughout the day. Trust me, it's in reserve and about 10 minutes after you get on the treadmill, you'll notice this stuff kick in.
