I was eating a grilled chicken at Wendy's today and reading the nutritional info on thier food. Beleive it or not, Wendy's chili is only about 200 calories, 6 grams of fat, and has 17 grams of protien. Thats about the same as my protien bar...just thought I would mention this in case you are stuck in a situation where you have to eat out.

If you have found an acceptable food we can eat while out, mention it here. I am trapped at school most of the day, and usually just eat protien bars till I can get home......

Any grilled chicken sandwich is probably a good bet. That and the 'sensational' salads.

Watch out for those protein bars... there is usually a lot of hidden junk in them... all kinds of sugars under various names, e.g., "cane juice" -- sugar comes from cane. I just read the label of a protein "cookie" that advertises "no refined sugar!" When you read its label, it states it has 'unrefined" cane juice....

The Zone Diet guy has mentioned Wendy's chili as one of the better choices available if you must do "fast food." If I must, I'll eat that or any grilled chicken sandwich without mayo or other dressing and without cheese. The salads with grilled chicken are good too so long as you make a healthy choice for the dressing.
