All the data says that protein utilization is enhanced by taking it with a carbohydrate.
Now most people, for dinner, would have something like meat and veggies.
How about if it was switched up so that dinner included a piece of fruit?
So now we'd have, say, pork-chop plus broccoli plus peach.
Or...fish,asparagus and nectarine etc.
Even lunch could be...chicken breast, cantaloupe.
I know potatoes are a carb but...I'm done with potatoes unless they're roasted.
If you're having a whey shake, it's better utlized with a carb.
But I figure this would apply to an animal protein as long as it wasn't a refined carb such as sugar.
