I know a lot of members use various IM programs, I personally use ICQ and Yahoo, both through Trillian. I normally don't share my IM info in places like this because of the sheer volume of unknown people that browse the forums. I don't want to increase my chances of getting "spammed" through IM. But I wanna be able to talk to JSF members! Has anyone been getting an increase of IM "noise" since making their IM info public here?

Most services (ICQ & Y! included, I believe) have ignore lists if things get out of hand. I've had no problems having my info posted.

I havent received any noise since I've had mine posted. I wouldn't mind follow JSF members IM'ing. Maybe I'll give it a try.

me too! amino is a great guy, good to IM, especially since his timezone is drastically different than mine!

I got an unexpected IM yesterday from a girl that found the site on google...She just had a few questions about fatloss... I was happy to be able to help her.

yeah I suppose that's even worse, huh? :D But really, it hasn't been a problem. My best friend sometimes prattles on while I'm working, so I just tell her "hey gotta go I got work to do" and she finds someone else to prattle to. ;)
