Hey guys I'm having a hard time bulking up, I think, I have a fitness journal here on the forums and you could see my pics after a month. I just have a hard time coming up with a 3000 calorie a day diet. I'm fine with eating the same breakfast every day. It's just that I'm getting kind of tired of eating the same type of lunch and dinners every day. I try to change it up but I end up eating the same stuff to try to get me close to the 3000 mark. I have asked for advice before and I have made the changes, but I'm still not seeing much of a difference, you can tell by my pics. Here is a sample of my diet right now:
Breakfast
Cheerios with 1c of fat free milk
2 eggs
protein shake
Snack
2 penut butter sandwiches
V8
Lunch
Tuna and 10 whole wheat crackers and an apple
(Somebody suggested oatmeal instead of crackers but I do eat oatmeal at a different time)
Snack
Turkey breast sandwich with spinach and mustard
Dinner
8 oz Chicken breast and brown rice
Snack
about 48 almonds with yogurt (6oz) and 2 cheese sticks
(Im not sure if this makes it a complete protein, somebody on the website let me know that just almonds alone wasn't a complete source,
I hope this combination does.
Snack
8oz of orange juice
Protein shake with oatmeal
Right before bed
half a cup of Cottage cheese.
I'm mostly tired of the lunches and dinners. I find I need on a lot of days when I switch up my dinners to help me reach my goal of 40 percent( I'm doing a 40/40/20. I think maybe I need to up my calories higher than 3000, but like I said I already have enough of a hard getting close to it. I also get pretty full already as it is. I guess what makes it harder to make the food is that I'm working full time, going back to school, and by the time I finish doing all my other things its time for bed. I just want to make a quick dinner and lunch and be over with it. I have no free time. I guess I'll I've done is complain, but I'm not quitting. It's allright for you to tell me to just shut up and eat the crap alread, I may just need someone to slap me around. But if anybody could help out I would appreciate it, I'm kind of discouraged right now. I was thinking of joining Swolecat to see if they offer more variety, but I"m not sure how easy it is to incorporate their diet. I'm kind of looking for something fast. Although if anyone could offer anymore advice (I think a have followed the advice others have given me to up my calorie intake from 2300 to 3000)it would save me a lot of cash from getting the program. How can I push it a little more. Maybe I need to eat some more high calorie foods that don't fill you up, but I'm not sure if its healthy to add another tablespoon of penutbutter to my meals, that'll be three. I should shut up now.
Thanks,
Eric
