Hey Walt, I was gonna PM you but I thought the rest of the forum would appreciate your thoughts.

Do the effects of SuperCharge diminish over a few weeks?

I had this experience with both NO-Xplode AND Ready4War. I like both products but after a couple of weeks they don't do anything.

Any other thoughts on this product?

Thanks!

Sorry to post ahead of Walt, but in your experience, have you seen many that just don't respond to these types of sups very well, or much at all?
I just started the NoExplode, and have eased into it, and do see a little change, but not over the top, like some do. I'm still at two scoops. A little afraid to move to three,..Still a little wary of having to change shorts without warning,....;)

I'll catch Chris' question first. I think that I might have felt like I was getting diminished results over time. Here's what I came up with in my head when I thought about it. I notice a huge difference those first 2 or 3 sessions using it, but keep in mind that I'm comparing those first few work outs to when I wasn't using any Pre w/o kicker, just the day or days before. After a couple of weeks, what am I comparing my workout to now? Do you see where I'm going with this? I'm jacked out of my shorts compared to a pleasent morning cocktail of 30g of dex and some protein, and the difference is obvious. But later I'm trying to compare being jacked out of my shorts to being jacked out of my shorts. There's not alot of difference there, and I've already forgotten what my dexpro cocktail felt like. This making any sense?
Just like everything else, your body's going to adapt to what it's being exposed to. Easy comparison...Somebody doesn't drink caffeine, and you give them a cup of coffee...they're bouncing off the walls. Give them a cup of coffee everyday for a couple of weeks, and they're not going to react the same to it. I actually answered my own curiousity while I was typing here... Above I was leading towards maybe it's just a mental thing...but the coffee analogy woke me up. I'm not editing any of my opening response just so that everybody can see what I wack job I really am.
I cycle everything. Supplements that I take during the week I don't take at all on the weekends. Sometimes I'll switch supplements for a few weeks and see if other stuff I have in the house still does anything for me...and it almost always does. I think that swapping NO2 products isn't really going to change things much because you're still using the same basic ingredients. Where I don't take Supercharge every single workout, it typically kicks in pretty good when I do take it. (especially if I do 2 scoops  ) If RFW isn't doing it for you, try training without it for a week or so. Don't be too surprised if you do notice an energy deficit.

As far as some people not responding at all to these types of products...I know of at least one member who told me he wasn't seeing anything with Supercharge until he bumped the dose and took it on an empty stomach. Me, I'll get squirrelly on 1 scoop sometimes.
I think that when we read what others experiences were with a product, we might set too high of an expectation on it when we try it ourselves. We may build it up so much in our head as we're peaking out the window waiting for the UPS guy to bring our order after a week, that nothing short of a narcotic is going to meet those expectations.
But I personally haven't heard of anybody not responding at all.

I certainty agree with the caffeine comparsion. When i first started a EC stack a few months ago the first few days i didn't know what the hell to do with myself, swear i was back in the day and on acid again.

Thanks Walt! Great reply, and I appreciate it.

Here's what I was thinking of trying: cycling preworkout supplements.

Either one of the following two scenarios:

1.
One week R4W, one week Supercharge, rotate back and forth.

2.
Monday R4W, Wednesday SC, Friday R4W, Monday SC.

I think option 1 looks better.

Anyway just throwing out ideas and thoughts. :)

Thanks again bud!

PS - nothing I use makes me jacked out of my shorts (lol), but I did notice a pretty good "awakening" on one full scoop of R4W (you may want to try it if you can stand drinking something VERY nasty). Overall, I'm more of a "fruit preworkout" guy I think. Sounds like a decent time to sprinkle some Equal on a grapefruit, err, I mean, eat it raw like a man. ;) :D

Yeah, MAN UP! The fruit punch flavored Supercharge is really sweet. I'd look at the ingredients on the RFW vs SC and see if there's much of a difference. If swapping them out doesn't do anything for you, I might suggest dropping both for a week and starting whichever is up in the rotation.

my comment isn't about NO2 supps but it does relate.. I'm taking an ECA stack right now per my trainers recommendation and he's already told me that I'll be cycling it... 6 weeks on, 2 weeks off, repeat... and it's because once your body becomes too familiar with it, it will slowly lose it's effectiveness ;)

I will look at the ingredients of course (that's why I am not going to try and cycle NOX -- because of the carb intake, and yes I'm picky).

I'll likely drop both for a week, I think that's good advice. Thanks!

Yes, and I agree with him. The trouble is with a lot of the preworkout supps I find they lose effectiveness within just a couple of weeks. :(

Kind of on track with Gironda's belief that the body could adapt to an exercise in just 3 work outs.
