Camp 1.....says take creatine for 6 weeks and then go off for 2.

Camp 2.....says there is no clinically proven negative effects from taking creatine continuously.

To cycle or not to cycle?

I prefer to cycle ALL supplements except multivitamins and protein powder.

I think its just a case of your body being dependant on it if you use for so long, just like any other drug.

I foolishly used creatine non-stop for 4 months until I realised I should take a break from the stuff. Needless to say training made me feel weak and ill for a while after coming off it.

I assume my body became dependant on the creatine and when I took it away, my muscles weren't very pleased!

There's no clinically proven positive effects of creatine use if one is already consuming enough quantities of red meat (that is, what Chris eats!).

Agreed. I cycle creatine on a three week on, one week off cycle. I never load-dose, either.
