tell us more about the CMS setup John... is it custom coded for your site or is it an open-source app that can be found on sourceforge/freshmeat/etc?
indulge us with a screenshot of the new site! ;)

If it's in Norwegian I'm guessing it's Hipercom's own :)

That's what I'd guess. I've been using MovableType for my own sites, and they're really good.

Andi & Jamester are right on target: It's a custom CMS, developed by Hipercom (it was coded by Elektronaut (http://forums.johnstonefitness.com/member.php?u=2326), who is a member here.) Hipercom developed it for a client, and it just kind of grew from there. It's being modified and converted to English for my site.
All those guys at Hipercom are so damn talented - it must be something in the Nordic water. ;) Duckman has m4d Photoshop and web design skillz, and Elektronaut rocks at Photoshop, is a strong coder and a damn fine musician to boot (check out his web page.) I'm very lucky to be working with them, and I owe Duckman big time for his kind services and all the work he and his co-workers have put into the main site (they are not getting rich from this job, that's for sure).
As for a screenshot, sorry - no can do! I'm sworn to secrecy until the launch. ;)

With all the effort and help you've provided to all of us here, it's the least we can do for you
Below are a few screenshots of the CMS John is getting. You'll have to wait for the big launch to see the new site design, though, but it kicks ass, believe me;)
The CMS lacks some in userfriendliness, like a "Word-like" toolbar, but that doesn't really matter for John as the techie he is. However, it has awesome support for search engine optimization, which will greatly improve your rankings in search engines. Not many CMS has that feature.
A brand new release is on the way and it'll rock bigtime. For example, as a module in our intranet system, you'll be able to use Windows authentication for login to the CMS, manage SMS and MMS push (yep, that's right), mailinglists of course, and a lot of really awesome and unique features I've yet to see in any other CMS :tu:
