And you aren't losing weight, right? Weight lifting doesn't make you hungery, your mind set does. Your body has eaten more calories than you expend for a long time, now you are trying to change. Your mind says whoa this isn't right, it hasn't changed the picture you have been carrying for years. Change the picture and it is easier to change the body and actions.
Don't give in, stick to diet.:nono:
tedpod Fri, April 28th, 2006, 01:17 PM we need a little more information...if your saying your hungry after lifting weights then yeah you should be...if you have your "diet " figured out..there definitly should be a protien and carbohydrate meal shortly thereafter......post up your diet and stats mayeb we can figure out why you are so hungry...
blahhh6666 Fri, April 28th, 2006, 07:07 PM i have found that drinking a few glasses of water with everything i eat makes me feel very full.
Bulwark Fri, April 28th, 2006, 08:34 PM It's good to be hungary after weight training. YOur body NEEDS the calories. Post workout nutrition is sooooo important. Be sure you're getting protein and carbs to replenish your muscles.
badgolfer Fri, April 28th, 2006, 09:09 PM I can get absolutely starved at times. When I am lifting consistently my body screams out for food at times so I oblige it. I have no trouble losing weight doing that when I am consistent with my diet and exercise otherwise.

I'm not losing scale weight, but I just measure my waist this morning and it was down an inch...I'm still in disbelief, so I'm gonna check again tomorrow to see if it was a solar eclipse or something.
