hey everyone,

what bf% am i would ya say? i get anywhere from 10-13% using my calipers. but i just got them and i doubt i'm doing it properly/consistantly yet.

i'm 6ft, ~150lbs, beginner, looking into a 3x week full body routine, perhaps TBT. i figure i should bulk but reading through the FAQs saying to go down to 10% and then bulk, i am unsure exactly what to do.

i hope the pics aren't too large, i shrunk em down a bit, but the last one is wider than the rest.

the first two pics are from within the last week, with the others being from a bit over 2 weeks ago..

thanks, i appreciate it! lots of knowledge here and i'm sure i'll have more questions in the near future ;)

How much weight did you lose in that 2 weeks? How much difference was caused by your flexing in latest shots? It is hard to say, you should remained relaxed in photos. Stick by your calipers, take a 3 site and a 7 site measure. It is easier if a friend or relative does it.:bb:

I would wager no more than 3 lbs. I understand that it's difficult with the flexing and not - I included that pic because I have seen a lot mentioned about bf% and abs popping out, and I thought it may have proved helpful for estimates.

I will certainly keep using the calipers, just wanted some outside opinions to see how accurate my measurements are so far.

Any idea on the pics from two weeks ago? I failed to mention my waist is 31" in the pics from two weeks ago, and 30.5" in the most recent, if that helps.

Thanks

Yeah, I think you're BF estimate is pretty close. Remember that calipers are not exact and only give you a relative estimate of body fat levels. However, based on the consistency of your testing, they will allow you to track your BF change over time.

As for your other question -- bulk! Building more muscle mass will help you with the fat loss later down the road. Plus, I think you'd look too skinny if you continue cutting. Waterbury's TBT would be a good program for you (I recently completed it myself) coupled with a bulking diet.

Read up on TBT and post your bulking diet plans...we can go from there.
