Greetings all!
This is my first post to this forum after lurking for a couple months, so please bear with me.
I am planning to build a home gym in a 10' x 17' room that will also be home to my "office" along one wall.
I searched the forum for mention of the Ironmaster IM2000 & found no mention of this system.
Does anybody have any experience with this setup or the previous version. I am torn between this & a good Power Rack like the Powertec or Tuff Stuff.
I am a free weight man all the way, but space is at a premium & the Ironmaster IM2000 looks quite promising.
Any advice, reviews, comments, etc. would be most welcome.

It looks like it wants to appeal to a free weight guy. Can't tell from pictures if that is a smith or a free floating barbell. If it is a smith junk it and get a rack.

1,100 is a tad too high for what it offers in my opinion.

I have been using the Tuff Stuff Power Rack TPR-265 for the past two years, and I think I have made a wise investment. This rack is about $150-200 more than others on the market. However, the quality of the rack is good. If you examine the welding, placement of the holes, and overall fit-and-finish, the entire rack is well made.

However, I would recommend that you research various racks before you make your decision. I purchased mine from a local shop that gave a good price. Since a rack is a purchase that you should keep for over twenty years, I would try out as many racks as possible before you make your purchase.
