Well, today marks my 1 year anniversary here. I must say I have really profited from my year. I will write more about it later but I wanted to post a pic of how I looked a year ago and how I look today. JSF is a main reason for the change. Thanks to everyone here. Gotta go.

Thanks guys. I will be starting SGX on Monday and I will start a new journal to keep track of my results.

Last April, I weighed 153 pounds and thought I looked just fine. The people here got me thinking about health and fitness in the right way. I was not heavily into weightlifting but soon discovered that it would need to be a major part of my fitness goals. I joined a gym in May. Then, you guys convinced me that I needed to bulk up so I did and gained 37 pounds. After peaking at 190, I have now cut back to 180 for the start of SGX. The friendly people here even suggested losing the goatee (good call).

Special thanks go out to John himself for inspiration and this vehicle, Doordude, Reeze, Johnyboy, Abguy and a host of others. You guys have either offered encouragement, ridicule or both which was very helpful and entertaining.

I'm in this for the long haul and will continue to post. I appreciate all the help and advice I get here and hope I can reciprocate. Good luck to all.

Good lighting, sucking in hard, and taking the shot first thing in the morning before eating. I'm actually still pretty zaftig from my bulk, hence the SGX.

Thanks PD. I'd like to end up with a physique like yours. Even though I am old compared to most of the people on this site, I don't feel it. Actually, I feel 19. I'll be reporting on how things go with SGX.

That's a good question. I'd love to add some muscle during this cut. If I can, I may just maintain forever. If I end up sub 10% bf and shredded but thin, I may bulk in the fall. Have to wait and see.
