I'm in PDX on biz now through Saturday. Can you recommend any restaurants downtown for healthy eating? I have a Bally's nearby
(w00t!) and brought my protein, etc. But could use a couple of decent dinner options. Something local/different would be appreciated.

Cheers!

I really know nothing much about Portland, except this: some incredible music comes from that town.

If you get a chance, check some out.

Hope you have a good time.

My wife lived there in the 1970's when she was in the Forest Service. It's a really fun town.

We ate at several places when we were there in 1999, but the best was the Ruth's Chris, which was the best of those we've been in.

Not in Portland, but I live down the road about 2 hours. For some good food - the South Park Seafood Grill and Wine Bar is yummy. It is downtown on Salmon street.

We ate there a couple of years ago and the food was soo good. I recommend reservations.

Shouldn't be hard to find something healthy and nutritious in Portland. Portland is a little more health conscience there, you will find. At least you are there while the weather is relatively good!

Check out Washington Park while you are there if you can. Nice park that overlooks the City. Also has a Japanese Garden and a rose garden, although it is a bit early for roses.

OMSI is a fun place to go to - a big hands on interactive museum type place.
