What is eveyone's opinion on which works? I try the cheat meal but sometimes it leaves me open for cheating a little the rest of day because I get comfortable ya know? I know deep down that I am working really hard the rest of the week and I did my morning cardio and till that point when I start cheating a little I was dead on diet wise so I let loose for a couple hours- Is this going to be my downfall? What do others do about thier cheat meals/Days?

Cheat evening. Eat clean until AFTER supper.

Or if you're going to a nice place, cheat at supper and then you eat what you want in the evening. These always work for me as I'm not that hungry by that time anyways, so I'll snack a bit.

Ok, so basicly make it as late a meal as possible- that way if I continue to snack a little it will end soon?

I usually have a "cheat event". Sometimes that's a meal at a restaraunt. Sometimes it's an evening of hanging with the guys. Sometimes it's a whole day holiday. It really depends on what my life dictates. In the past few weeks they have been:

A meal of pizza after helping a buddy move
Hamburgers/pretzels/cake/ for a birthday party
This weekend, cheese filled stuffed shells, potpie, 3 pieces of ice cream cake, Sickers ice cream bars

And you know what I've found? After every different type of meal/day, I'm up 4-5 pounds for 2 days, and then when I lose the water weight I'm back down to if not below where I was at. So I don't worry about it too much which it ends up being. I just make sure to get back at it afterwards, failure to cut yourself off and getting back to eating according to your plan I think is the worst thing that causes cheat days to become issues.

Likewise! When I cheat, about a week after that cheat I look leaner than ever before.

After reading the post from bestastas I am trying this cheat stuff full speed.

I am back to eating BFL and I consume 25 gms protein and 40 gms carbohydrate per meal.I do take the 40 gms from last meal and add to my PWO for 80 gms of dex.I take 15 caps flax with last meal instead.

Ok after one week of looking healthy and leaner,by friday it starts to backfire. It always seems to happen.I cant explain it but I feel it.Not only do I feel it but the scale went up a pound.I start to feel severly overtrained and the food Im eating somehow starts to make me look like im holding water.

Well after reading bestastas post and graph I tried it all day saturday.I kept PWO at 80 gms dex but ate an extra 40 gms carbs with each meal for the rest of the day. This comes out to around an extra 1200 calories.

When I woke up this morning I was leaner looking:tucool: and had the feeling that I was back on track. Now I cant wait till friday to see if my weight drops even further:DI also noticed my soreness gone.
