I started the max o/t style cardio 3 weeks ago today and am in need of some advice.
I am finding it very hard to improve on my previous best time and according to the articles I have read it is paramount that you improve your distance every single cardio session (didnt improve today)
The first week I did 4 days, the second week I did another 4 days and I feel like I am killing myself off, after the last couple of sessions, I get off the bike and litterally fall on the floor and lay there for a few minutes, (legs are totally beat) im pretty much beat for the rest of the day.
I can see/feel a big difference, I may be beat, but on the other hand I feel great.
My main question is, is there a "limit" to the amount of days I do this?
Im starting my third week today and have decided to change up my max o/t cardio sessions to every other day with the off days doing MISS for 30-40 mins.
Should I dial down the resistance? right now, my bike is set at a type of interval starting at level 4 for one minute, then up to 6 for a minute and then finally 8 for another minute starting the cycle over again after 3 minutes. level 4 seems pretty easy where level 8 burns pretty good I do this for a total of 16 minutes.
I guess im looking for some advice, mabey support? I have a hard time seeing myself improving my previous time every single session where im going as hard as I can manage but then again, im seeing good results just in the two weeks ive been doing this, Im just afraid im going to hit a wall really soon and not be able to get back up.
Any thoughts appreciated.
