Well, my family is deciding to go out to eat tonite, probably to chilis...I've been cutting for 8 weeks straight and on my final week and would normally skip out, but I feel it time for a reward since the last 4 weeks have been so strict it's almost abnormal..lol. Well anyways, anyone frequent chilis or can someone give me a good reccomendation on what I should order? Most likely something chicken, and as of now I at about 1100 calories for the day, about to take a protien scoop and some honey grahm crackers because I just got done working out..so Anyone have any ideas on what to order that would be right around 800-1000 calories? Diet soda is a definite...

Get a salad first. Eat the whore thing. I would suggest a cut of meat, potato, and steamed weggies. You canhave chicken, turkey, steak, etc. I would suggest enjoying it a bit. A 6 Oz steak would be a great idea. I don't know what chillis is... but try to get something lean. Avoid cheese and sauces, and don't have a desert. Whatever you do though, have a salad (no dressing!).:spank:

You can check calorie king.com for their entrees. I used to work at that restaurant chain and heres my suggestion. Ask for it with the sauces on the side and ask for double veggies and no carbs. Ask it to be well done so alot of the fat off the meats come off. Drink lots of water first so you get kinda full.

Enjoy yourself.... it's your final week, 1 week extra if needed will not harm you unless there is a reason why it's your final week, ie: spring break next week (if so I'd say pass because it will be difficult for you as there's really nothing healthy there)

Well I made out alright I feel...I got fire grilled shrimp over rice, with a baked potatoe which i scraped all the butter and sourcream off of...The reason it's my last week is because I will have hit my weight goal of 180 lb, 10.5%-11% BF and its start to start adding some serious muscle :)

Chili's has some healthy menu items- I forget what they're called: guiltless grill or something.

Beware of salads at restaurants: they are usually loaded with fat and/or sodium.

no doubt, I skipped the salad, and it almost made me cringe to see my other family members eating fries, steak, and a salad loaded with blue cheese dressing...I just was thinking to myself that looks good, but I don't want to do that to myself. Although once my bulking routine starts my caloric intake goes from about 2200 to 3000 a steak for a cheat meal doesn't seem all that outrageous :)

Actually they do it all wrong in restaurants.

They always ask you if you'd like your salad first.

Wrong. Whatever you eat first will determine the initial outpouring of digestive fluids in your stomach.

You want your protein first, salad last.

You don't want hard liquor before a meal either. In any restaurant worth it's salt, hard liquor before a meal is an insult to the chef.

However wine is fine first.

Most of the 'greasy spoons' around just want you to have some booze before a meal because (a) their food sucks and (b) they make lots of money on alcohol.

Have a protein "appy" first.
