Thank you
Jonesy Mon, January 26th, 2004, 02:58 PM I found this on another site, I hope it helps...
The substance Clenbuterol hydrochloride is also available in various other forms of administration, including syrups, drops, liquids, dosing aerosols, injectable solutions, and granules. Since athletes usually prefer tablets, manufacturers and trade names- offering this oral version are listed.
Clenbuterol is a very interesting and remarkable compound. It is not a steroid hormone but a beta-2-symphatomimetic. Clenbuterol, above all, has a strong anti-catabolic effect, which means it decreases the rate at which protein is reduced in the muscle cell, consequently causing an enlargement of muscle cells. For this reason, numerous athletes use Clenbuterol after steroid treatment to balance the resulting catabolic phase and thus obtain maximum strength and muscle mass. A further aspect of Clenbuterol is its distinct fat-burning effect. Clenbuterol burns fat without dieting because it increases the body temperature slightly, forcing the body to burn fat for this process. Due to the higher body temperature Clenbuterol magnifies the effect of anabolic/androgenic steroids taken simultaneously, since the protein processing is increased.
Athletes usually take 5-7 tablets, 100-140 mcg per day For women 80-100 mcg/day are usually sufficient, It is important that the athlete begin by taking only one tablet on the first day and then increasing the dosage by one tablet each of the following days until the desired maximum dosage is reached. The compound is usually taken over a period of 8-10 weeks. Since Clenbuterol is not a hormone compound it has no side effects typical of anabolic steroids. For this reason it is also liked by women. Possible side effects of Clenbuterol include restlessness, palpitations, tremor (involuntary trembling of fingers), headache, increased perspiration, insomnia, possible muscle spasms, increased blood pressure, and nausea. Note that these side effects are of a temporary nature and usually subside after 8-10 days, despite continuation of the product. In the meantime, Clenbuterol is well distributed on the black market and costs between $0.70 and $1.20 per 0.02 mg tablet.
I'd be careful, it sounds like it could be nasty stuff if you don't know how to use it.
Chad Ferguson Mon, January 26th, 2004, 03:16 PM So if taken in the correct dose everything should be find and it should work well. My other question is after your done with this if you continue a correct diet will you body go back to regular or will the fat just come back and your body slows down to recover?
THank you
Jonesy Mon, January 26th, 2004, 03:42 PM As long as you continue your proper diet you'll be fine. I don't have personal experience with this product, but I understand that it is used for no longer than 2 weeks at a time, with two weeks off in between.
I can only say to be very, very careful! I would do more research before considering this route!
funtax Mon, January 26th, 2004, 04:06 PM [Clenbuterol] is reported to have dramatic effects upon muscle development and as a repartitioning agent in altering the lean to fat ratio. Recently, in Spain, there have been reports of acute poisoning of humans from their consumption of liver from clenbuterol-treated animals.
Clenbuterol is approved in Canada as an injectable and in various oral dosage forms for use solely in horses.
Clenbuterol is a bad, bad idea. It was developed for use with LIVESTOCK, not humans. It's intended use is to improve the fat/lean mass ratio in show animals and to treat respiratory problems in horses. The legal form of it (Ventipulmin) is used to treat asthma, but only in rare circumstances.
Skip the drugs and get on a good diet/exercise program. Shortcuts are never the right choice, especially risky, drug-based shortcuts.

Agreed. The receptors in your body that this drug works on will down-regulate, meaning after a while, you'll have to take more of it. And that also means that when you do stop, the weight will come back even if you maintain the same diet. You'd have to know what you're doing if you want to cycle on and off of it. This is off the top of my head, but I'm pretty sure it's correct.
If you have any other medical conditions or are any other medications, Clenbuterol may be a very bad idea.
Chad Ferguson Mon, January 26th, 2004, 04:29 PM Sorry, but could you explain a little more about the weight coming on after? This will happen even if you maintain a correct diet afterwards?
Thank you for you input
brownguy Mon, January 26th, 2004, 06:21 PM Clenbuterol acts by working by stimulating the beta-2 adrenergic receptors in your body. Your body will respond to this increased by eventually down-regulated how much these receptors will react to stimulus (just a warning...it's been a long time since my pharmacology classes, but I'm pretty sure this info is correct). You'll need to take higher and higher doses to acheive the same response. If you stop the drug, these recepetors will still be shut down, so if your body will not burn fat at the same rate as it was before you started.
Some people will cycle on and off of it to give their receptors time to "reset" themselves, but I'm not sure how well that works. Clenbuterol is not available for human use in Ontario, so I don't too much more about it.
You could take short cuts like Clenbuterol, but why? It's 4 more months until t-shirt season -- you've got plenty of time.
corbint Mon, January 26th, 2004, 10:26 PM fyi bro, clenbuterol(spiropent) is used to treat asthma. if used for any other reason, ie fat loss, its "illegal". also, because this medicine impacts the central nervous system, misuse/abuse can be VERY dangerous.
also, the benefits of using this in conjunction with a PROPER diet and cardio/lifting regimen are only minimal. if you can lose 2 to 3 pounds a week with just diet and exercise, and clen adds MAYBE an additional 1 to 1.5 pounds a week, is it worth it?
I'd take the safe route and not use clen... also, unless it comes in the ORIGINAL blister pack, you cant be sure of what you are ingesting!
