I'm just curious if any of you use software programs for tracking workouts and nutrition that you would recommend? What do you like about it, what don't you like?
Thanks.
Thanks.

This thing will even spit out a meal plan based on your goals. That's the 14 day trial. If you PM me, I can tell you how to get past that 14 days. This is the first time I'm mentioning this software. I've been considering the Pro Edition for use with my own clients. Zilla Wed, April 5th, 2006, 03:01 PM This thing will even spit out a meal plan based on your goals. That's really cool. Besides that, what is the difference between this and other programs out there? I'm looking for user opinion versus just reading what is posted on the website. The biggest asset I found to this software is that it'll give you your daily meals for "x" amount of weeks, the recipes for those meals, a grocery list for the week, it'll give you nutritional breakdowns to the enth degree, track your activity down to the minute, and spit out just about any report on all of the above that you could ever want. I looked around for some time to find something that would meet what "I" was looking for. This was the only software that I found to do just about everything. Like I suggested...install it and see. mr. d Thu, April 13th, 2006, 06:55 AM Hmmm... I'd say install it...fill in your stats...find the Import Meal Plan key...and run with it. I must admit i hate entering my nutritional data into spreadsheets, some find it works for them, but it's always very mentally intensive, i find if i did it everyday i'd go round the bend. However some people swear by it. Tread with caution on the spreadsheet thing. If you're from the UK i have a better version of the spreadsheet designed with UK nutritional info on packets in mind, just ask me, I'll email it Monkey0ne Thu, April 13th, 2006, 08:53 PM I'm just curious if any of you use software programs for tracking workouts and nutrition that you would recommend? Are you looking for something more sophisticated than the Excel Tracking Log posted in the stickies portion of the Nutrition & Suppliments section? Andrew Thu, April 13th, 2006, 10:31 PM I log food occasionally, and Excel works great. I keep a workout log on Word. Nothing complicated. |
