Is there any way to make my body sleep more regularly?
I find that when I'm out of shape I sleep more, but when I'm in shape I sleep much less - 6-7 hours.
I'd like to sleep about 10 hours per night but I don't want to have to be out of shape to do so. Is there any natural way of training myself to sleep longer hours?
I know it's a sort of odd question / request, but this is something I miss when I work out -- those long deep slumbers... I'd like to do it naturally w/out medication

Maybe you should find a productive hobby. If you don't need 10 hours sleep, why waste your life? :)
As long as you're well fed and low on stimulants, then your body should sleep as much each night as it needs to, as long as you don't have insomnia or something.

Sleeping is a bad hobby. I got 12 hours last night and I still didn't want to get out of bed.
Limit to yourself to 7-9 at the same time each night. Supplementing with ZMA can increase the quality of that sleep.

What I am finding is that ability to sleep is not only physical but also mental. If I work hard, eat well and keep my mind clear I am able to sleep very well
There are times when my body is over worked/stressed or when I worry about something, I lose my sleep

Since beginning my fitness program about 7 weeks ago, I find that I go to bed a little earlier and get up a LOT earlier. But I'm still getting 7+ hrs each nite. I've always done best on not less than 7 hrs.
I find it MUCH easier to pop out of bed in the morning, feeling well rested, since beginning the workout.
