I know that you can eat too few calories and I know you can eat too many. I also know that it depends on your weight, height, excersise routine, how much you want to lose, etc.

But I was wondering if anyone knew what a good amount of calories would be for me to eat a day?

I'm about 5'5 and weigh 133 lbs or so...I run 6 days a week but I'm trying to lose some weight. I'm starting to bump up my running but I don't know how many calories I can consume so that I can lose weight but not energy...

There are various calculations you can use to make an initial estimate.

Here's (http://www.fitnesspros.net/calculators/calorieneeds.html) one, but you can find them through google to give you a variety of opinions on it. This one said 2378 for you for very active. (I didn't know your age so entered 25.

Also important is amount of protein, carbs and fat as ratio. You have to make sure you eat enough protein not to lose muscle. Also need to split calories into various meals (probably 6) across the day.

Try the stickies at the top of fat loss and beginners forums, there's lots of info in there about this kind of stuff.
