Well, last night was the first day I've drank in over 4 months. I got a bit drunk too. In fact, I got drunk enough that running 5km sounded like a good idea. We were meeting some friends at a bar, however on the way our car got into an accident (driver was sober). We were about 5-6k from the place so we decided to run there. Boy oh boy was I ever panting by the end of the run. I managed to make it in one piece but by the end of the night I was exhausted because of this. Also, I didn't eat anything after the run and I was so worried about catabolism. I just told myself to not be so paranoid and have fun and that's what I did. I got home at around 4am, and woke up around noon dead tired. Upon awakening I guzzled down a protein shake with oats and banana. I felt better, then a couple hours later I had my pre-workout meal and went to the gym. I weighed myself, and I was 2lbs lighter than the previous day which made me want to cry in anger. However, I went on with my workout not worrying about it telling myself it was probably just water weight anyways. I ended up having the best workout in a couple weeks. I went up in weight on all exercises and man I had HUGE PUMPS. I looked in the mirror after my workout and was like "WTF THATS NOT ME". I have never felt or looked so big in my entire life. It felt fucking GREAT! Moral of the story? I have no idea, but all I know is that it's ok to have fun once in a while! Moderation my friends!

You probably weighed less and your muscles were more defined because you were dehydrated from all the drinking.

It's all water. Thus the definition. No worries but props on the thrill of the workout. Never be upset by the scale.

It's funny how a little bit of water weight can make such a big difference in appearance.
