Looks like it'll stop the weight in midair, if you can't complete the last rep. Looks kinda interesting, though I'm quite sure its priced at some ridiculously high price. Will be useful for the last few reps on squats. Thats an exercise I REALLY don't want to push myself on.

The technology doesn't seem all that "high-tech" either. Damn, its something that I could have thought of....heh...

Glorified smith machine...

I'm fixin' to go into a meeting so I didn't have time to watch more than one of the videos but this contraption is strange indeed.

Check out the video of the guy working with dumbbells. It is more than a glorified smith machine.

I would worry about the weights being knocked loose from when they are hanging there in space. You'll break your toe or worse if you drop a 40Lb dumbbell from that height.

It is also pretty pricy stuff.
