This is my first post since joining up, there is so much information that has helped so far, if I don't see results using it I don't know what will!

My first concern is that I have several stretch marks on the stomach, hips and arms due to a growth spurt and weight gain, went from 9st to 12st quiet quickly then up to 14 over a longer time.

I have now got back to 13stone with a few changes to diet and going to gym 3 times a week.
Now I see that I can loose this weight I'm concerned about the stretch marks mostly because it's embarassing but also because they are just ugly!

I am quiet pale, would tanning help with the dis-colouration?
Whats the test exercises and foods to help tighten and reduce these marks?

Thanks for the help

as you lose weight the reddish stretch marks will turn neutral and hardly noticeable. In the meantime, I'm not sure what would work. I know healthy fats keep the skin elastic, and water is great too, but aside from that???

By the way, welcome!

Stretch marks are bightly colord for about the first year or so. You want to avoid tanning them or having them get any sun at all for the first year because then they won't fade well. After that, yes tanning can help - but even better are the sunless tanning creams, since natural tanning can be affected by the stretched skin and it's own pigment.

You cannot get rid of stretchmarks. But they do fade to a silver that you don't notice as much anymore.
