Holy crap. Took my first capoeira class with my roommates tonight at our gym. I feel like a human jell-o mold. Thought the class was 45 minutes long, ended up running an hour and 45 minutes :eek: It is no joke, let me tell you. There was some young kid in there flippin around on his head and doing crazy cartwheel-kicks...if I was in a fight with someone and they pulled that on me, I would run the other way.

Capoeira is insane. If you ever get the opportunity to take a class, go for it!

The classes at my uni are 3 hours during the week, but like 5+ hours on the weekend. It's insane! Insanely awesome

My ex did capoeira weekly for a while and got very lean doing it! It's tough but stick with it- it is a great workout and he swore by it. Plus you get to learn all those crazy moves!
