For everyone who struggles to stay on the fitness wagon.... You really need to focus on life one day at a time. If you screw one day up, dont get bummed out and give up the routine... just accept that you screwed up and try harder the next day. It is far too overwhelming to think about eating healthy for 3 or 6 months straight.. whatever your goal is. It has to be a lifestyle change that you shoot. good luck everyone

I agree with not getting consumed by your mistakes and continuing to strive harder to improve your health and fitness and learn from previous mistakes but I also think it's important to preplan certain things. Focusing too intently on 1 day at a time doesn't help you develop your long and short term goals. Some people find it easier to have meals planned and ready to eat a day before they need to eat them. This is a strategy that doesn't fit in with "take it one day at a time".

There are many facets to fitness and health that require you to look beyond the day you're in and into days, weeks and possibly even months ahead!

that's it exactly. I remember soon after I started my transformation that I gained 5 pounds simply by tailgating at a Bills game. Course it was all water weight that I burned off in 3 days, but it was a wake up call nonetheless.
cheers,

Something inspirational J Hollywood said; ``I'll give 100% and do my best, my best may not be as good as it was the last workout, but it'll be my best for that particular day, and that's the way you should always workout''.
He also said, `Lets go over and show these biceps more love, *kisses biceps*, I LOVE myself, you should love yourself too!'. His episodes on the Fit Show are probably my favourites :)
