Hello all...got a question for you all...i'm 6'1 178 12% down from 195 18%bf .I'm going to start bulking, how is N-Large for bulking to get the exta calories in?

You're pretty much going to get the same response from everybody here regarding weight gainers. They're a waste of money. A better alternative would be to get your calories from regular foods, or if you find it hard to eat that much, you can try this simple home made weight gainer. 1 Cup Oats 2 Cups Milk 2 Scoops Protein Powder 1 TBSP Peanut Butter 1 Banana (Blend it all together, you can also throw your glutamine, creatine, and bcaa's in there, for one super shake) This yields approximately 1000 calories, and good ones; oppose to the sugar loaded weight gainer you were about to buy. You could take it whenever you lack the desire to stuff your face full of food. I find some mornings the last thing I feel like doing is stuffing my face full of food while bulking, so I'll have it then. Or if you're running late in the morning, it would also be a good time to use, because it's quick. You could also take it post-workout, but like I said, it's really up to you, fit it in wherever you want. I usually take this as my breakfast meal, or my 2nd meal of the day. Let me warn you though, this is one filling shake. Definitely make sure you space it out about 2 hours from one of your other meals, it will stretch your stomach to it's limits, at least it does for me. |
