Alright, being the frugal (read: broke) student that I am (in law school, tuition is a nightmare), I have to manage to consume all of the food that I bought prior to starting this journey - this is because I can't afford to throw crap away (and/or give it away) and buy all new good food.

One of my brilliant purchases prior to deciding I was a fat, lazy, sloth was a big box of flavoured oatmeal (you know, like those little Quaker packs that you just pour hot water in et voila, gourmet peaches and cream oats!). I've been looking at them every day, thinking "wtf am I gonna do with 15 - 20 pouches of oats?"

Today, it dawned on me! They have carbs - good PWO carbs like oats and possible not so good PWO carbs like sugar (although sugar can't be THAT far off of dextrose in terms of effectiveness PWO - possibly just less healthy in a 'clean' sense). "Where do I need carbs? WAIT! PWO SHAKES!"

I just got back from the gym and threw one pouch of Maple and Brown Sugar in with 1.5 scoops of whey, 1 little vanilla FF/low sugar yogurt, half a banana, some water, and some ice and WOW, DELICIOUS.

I just figured out that I actually only have 10 pouches left.

Macros for the shake were:
416 cals
5g Fat
59g Carbs (5g DF and 35g Sugars)
34g Protein

I'm cutting and this has actually fit pretty well into my daily allotment of calories and macro stuff (40/40/20).

Now, c'mon, is it really that bad for a starving student to use up some of the last vestiges of the old world in the most productive manner possible?

Now if I could only figure out what to do with this massive block of regular (non-low-fat) cheese...

That's a pretty effective way to use something to its potential. PWO you are most receptive to carbs, so it would be the best time to take it during your day. While there is better, that is certainly making the best of the situation.

As for the cheese.... use it to lure mice. To use as bait to lure owls. Then eat the owls.

Ah, very creative with the cheese. I think I'll just put it on sandwiches though.

Now for the Chef Boyardee Ravioli...

Okay, if anyone has any of this crap lying around...use it for PWO shakes, if you have a blender, anyhow. It's SO good.

Today's shake was a pouch of Apple and Cinnamon oatmeal, 4 ice cubes, 1 cup water, 1.5 scoops of vanilla protein powder, half cup of frozen berries, and a pack of Danone Silhouette yogurt.

370 Cals
6g Fat (2SF)
48g Carbs (2 DF, 32 sugars)
33g Protein

My gf walked into the house right after I made it and asked if I was making cake. That's how good it smells/tastes.
