Hello.

I have been reading this forum and website for months now, and I thought it was about time I actually signed up. I can't believe the progress people like John and other membrs have made. Its amazing.
Anyway.
I am 22 years old and weight 177 lbs I am just over 6 feet tall.
My measurements: Bicep - 12 ", Chest - 37", Stomach - 35.5", Hips - 36", Quads - 23".
I am a keen sportman and play sport four times a week at a competitive level. I am told I am skinny, but its annoys me what I see in the mirror. I try to eat as healthy as I can. I would ideally like to build some more muscle and get to see some abs which i know I have somewhere haha. The photos attached are all tenses. The bit below the belly button is very annoying becasuse fat seems to store there. I am not a member at any gym. I have dumbles and one of those elastic band exercisers. Can any one give me any help to get me started on get a better body? Thanks in advance.

Looking at your pics you need to get under the bar dude - squat, your fairly lean just need some muscle to feel yourself out.

Look for a decent routine over on t-nation or bodybuilding.com or even use someone's that you like here.

Which do you value more? Playing sports or weight training? Because one could conflict with the other if you get totally into lifting.

Perhaps it would be better to design your lifting regimen with the particular sport in mind.

Don't forget the "recovery" factor. It's a major component of weight training especially for growth.

There are many training programs for the athletic and sports oriented.

Bodybuilding.com has a few in their workout base that can be printed out.

Here's a Bill Starr varation - he was the guy that trained the steelers back in the 70's i believe. Weight training will only help you in football don't worry about it.

If you do this program start it light and it would be best to watch people do the basic lifts and get them to watch you, assuming they have a clue.
