I have always had problems with leg cramps and occasional foot cramps. But as long as I ate a few bananas every week that always took care of it.

Well, in the last few weeks I've been more rigorous in taking my supps, my vitamins and minerals... I have been more consistent with working out... doing 4-5 fasted cardios, getting 2 days of weights in. My food has been more consistent though not perfect. I have not been that great on water is the only shortcoming I can think of. I don't get more than 8 glasses (8oz) a day except occasionally.

And I have been eating bananas too.

I have been getting cramping in my toes like crazy, like several times a day. I have never had anything like this before.

Anybody have any ideas?

I cramp up often when I begin to dehydrate after intense exercise. Make sure I'm well hydrated throughout the day usually helps.

Check out this article: http://alternative-medicine-and-health.com/conditions/legcramp.htm

Calcium, Vitamin E, Magnesium, Vitamin A, and Potassium deficiences all can cause cramping. I'd compare the recommended doses in that article with the amounts you're currently getting in your diet. I think I've read, in the past, that too much of one mineral can also cause an adverse effect and they need to be balanced correctly -- I think I read this about magnesium / potassium.

Thanks, chicanerous... you always come to the rescue...

I take plenty of the above vitaminsa nd mirearls on a regualr and consistent basis and yes they are balanced. Though without eating actual bananas the potassium is not suffcient for some reason.

It must be the lack of water.... I knew was slacking off on that lately. I really have to make an effort to drink enough so if I don't focus it is easy for me to forget....

Thanks for the link....
