Hi,

I recently received some discounted Creatamax 8000GL ( http://store.maximuscle.com/epages/maximuscle.storefront/440c5e7e0039ea022741ac1001b105e6/Product/View/CMAXO ).

I have read about a link between creatine monohydrate and acne; if the CMH isn't effectively shuttled into the muscles, it causes water retention in other tissues (inc. in the face, pinching off sebum canals and causing spots).

I heard that CEE doesn't cause water retention outside of the muscles and so it wouldn't worsen my problematic skin.

I also heard that they both tastes like ass if they're not in flavoured products (such as the creatamax), so I have been advised that CEE pills are a good bet ( http://www.myprotein.co.uk/mp-max/creatine-products/creatine-ethyl-ester-tablets/creatine-ethyl-ester-tablets.cfm )

So I have a few questions for anyone that's willing to endulge a newbie:

1. If CEE is more effective, can I combine it with the sophisticated creatamax product?
2. If they cannot be combined well, should I be prepared to have aggravated skin and just use CEE, eBaying the creatamax?
3. Are CEE pills less effective than the powder; should I just grit and bear it in some juice or something?

Thanks!

For what it is worth- If you opt for CEE, look into CellMass. I've been using it for two weeks. Too early to tell if it is useful but the taste is great, thanks to the CEE-M being smothered in citric acid.

Thanks for the input :]

But I can't afford any more products, I only bought the creatamax because I got £30 (~50 bucks) off it using vouchers :D

The CEE as-is powder/tablets are the only thing in my price range at the moment as they're like $10 and $20 respectively
