Ok i am confused and need some things cleared up.

How do you calculate your total calorie intake?

I am 18yrs old, weight 135lbs, 5 foot 6.5 inches. male

I run for 30 mins 4 times a week, and do weight training 3 times a week, and calisthenics 2 times a week. Lasting around 30mins.

My goals are to loose the fat in the abdominal area and start to eat right.

I just read an article about ratio and calories,

It says you should have a 50/40/10 ratio, is this right?

I also said that you should not exceed 10 times your body weight.

since i weight 135 i need 1350 calories?? sounds to low doesn't it?

I nkow what foods to eat, jsut need those things cleared up, thanks

Hmmm...5'6" and 135....seems to me that you're already quite skinny. Are you sure you need to cut?

IMO, At your age/ weight I think I would hit the weights hard and start bulking. Of course seeing a picture would help evaluate the situation.

Hope this helps! Please feel free to ask others for opinions!

You can use one of a million equations and get a good guess, but first, you need to get consistent. Use some free software like http://www.fitday.com/ or some other software that tracks calories. Be consistent - log a "normal day" then record those calories and shoot for those every day. This is your baseline. Now, if you are gaining weight, adjust calories back a bit. If you are losing, adjust them up. The goal is to hit a calorie level where you pretty much maintain for a week. That is your true basline calories, regardless of what any equation says. Then, you simply drop 500 calories a day per pound of fat per week you want to lose. Best bet is to drop half of that and add half in exercise - i.e. eat 250 calories less and exercise 250 calories more each day.
