John,
Have you considered adding a forum category for "Bulking" rather than just Weight Lifting and Fat Loss? When I first started coming to these forums, I found all the information that I needed in the current categories. That is, I wanted to get advice on how to lose the fat and some tips/tricks for weight training. However, I've noticed that as people get farther along in their "transformations", each individual tends to have drastically different goals. For example, I have no desire to get down to single-digit body fat. Instead, I'd rather learn how to continually add muscle mass over the long-term. I'd be surprised if there weren't other forum members who have the same goal.

Maybe this goes against the spirit of these forums as it seems most people are looking to lose the gut and look lean. However, I do enjoy the friendly atmosphere of these forums and would love to continue to use them as a one-stop-shop of information and advice.

Thoughts?

These forums are definitely not just for fat loss, however I think a separate bulking forum would be redundant and would cause confusion when it came to posting nutrition & supplement questions and weight training questions. We have a weight training forum for talking about all kinds of weight training programs no matter what your goals may be, and we have a nutrition and supplement forum for talking about all aspects of those areas, regardless if you are bulking, cutting or maintaining.

Ah, I hadn't thought of it that way. Time to go lurk in the nutrition/supplement forum.
