Hi,
I have been training hard since last May, and have lost 60 lbs over 3.5 months (starting in May), and have since leveled off at around 200-205 even though I do the same workout, actually i would say it is more intense.
However, the past few months I have noticed that I am noticeably slower in my runs, have not increased my bench press or bicep curl weight since january.
I spoke to Coach Harry Groves, (USA olympic track and field coach, '92), he suggested it was the usual college student stress, or low iron in my blood and recommended if i can't fix it that i should get some bloodwork done even though he doubts thats the problem.

Does anyone else have any suggestions for what might be wrong, and what i can do to fix it? I have my physical readiness test for the navy in 2 weeks and I know that if i had all my energy i could post some of the better times.

Oh, also I lost the weight doing a half-assed atkins type deal... I just substituted white bread for wheat, eliminated potatoes and pasta. I have slowly been moving away from that, but a majority of the time still stick to it.

thanks for your help

sorry, was in a rush, I forgot to mention my workout.

Three times a week: lifting followed by 20 min of elliptical, burning 350 calories

inbetween those days: run, can be running a mile/mile and a half as fast as i can, timing it, and doing that 2-3 times, a sprint/jog workout, or endurance (3 mi).

rest on saturday.

I do not take any protein supplements or creatine.
I want to stay around 200 lbs b/c of navy regulations, even if that means not putting on more muscle mass (but i still have alot of fat to lose, so i do have plenty of room for muscle growth)
