I have been working out for about 2 weeks now and I'm doing weights and cardio in the same day. 30 min of weight training and about 45 min cardio right after. Anyways I am seeing good results lost a solid 8.5 lbs. But I am already seeing my self buik up (i'm about 5'8 and by nature a stocking thick guy), Muscles getting tight and stuff which is nice, but i'm not seeking that look. I know my diet is good, but i also know if I were to get cut with training I am doing I would probably be cut like around 175-180 lbs. (due to my stockyness). I want to be cut or ripped looking at around 155-160 lbs., and I know i'll probably get some reactions because i am willing to say bye-bye to my highschool football muscle which is ok with me. Well, My question is should my main focus be on cardio, like maybe 5 to 6 times a week and 1 day week on focus weight training?

Focus Weight Training - this would be doing strecthing or concentration exercises for my muscles with light weights.

example : incline db flys just for my chest. reverse incline concentration d.b curls, reverse incline d.b. shoulder raises.

My current weight fluxes between 206.8-208.8 right now

Hey benny, I saw your pics and that is awesome what you did.
congrats on the successful transformation. Were you lifting alot or did you just do cardio doing your fat loss process?

No I dont have a pic sorry, but my stats are
age 23
weight 208
height 5'9
caloric intake ranges from 1100-1700
50%p/30%fat/20%carbs

the thickness i'm talking about is around my chest and shoulder/trap area, every time i start working out this part of my body explodes and i look like a bulldog. should cut all weight training all together?

Hrmmm... well... if you don't want those muscle to grow anymore, I'd say lay off lifting those areas... or go light... don't push. Do you lose muscle easily? As fast as you gain it, seemingly, you could try a couple weeks of cardio and see what it gets you... sounds like a clean bulk would put muscle back on you in no time.

I dont know how fast I lose musle but I know I can gain it pretty quick if I just eat a few extra hundred calories and work out heavier, but like i said i'm not into that anymore. Yea I think i'm going to start a 6 day cardio and 1 day lifting cycle for the next 2 weeks to see how that goes, and maybe cut out my red meat and switch to tofu.

1100? Is that correct, that is way too low. I would even say 1700 is too low, that is as low as I should get and I'm 5'6.

if i am eating around 13-1500 cals. a day, could that be way i'm already pleatuing at around 206-209 lbs. , I can't seem to go lower than this. its my third week, and i have been at this weight for nearly a week. Should i be eating more...? I have change my training to 50 min of cardio 6 times a week, and weight training 2x/week.. anybody else having this problem??

Eat at least double what you are now.

Do fasted cardio.

Weight train 2-3x/week.

I don't understand your goal without a picture.

You're probably not eating enough.

To make an educated guess and honest. I'd say right now as of this morning, i weighed 205.6 and about 17-21 % body fat

170-180 lbs would probably look pretty good. I think you'll be fighting a real uphill battle to get down to 155 and that's going to take a good year or more if you want to preserve your lean muscle
