I have two questions. How long is everyone getting out of weight lifting gloves? Which gloves seem to be working well and are getting high marks? My pair are ok but don't seem to be lasting as long as I think they should.

I bought some cheap $14 CAD gloves and I'm beginning to notice the stitching loosening up and the stitching job isn't so great now that I think about it. I go 3 times / week and it's lasted a few weeks so far.

I have a pair of these:

they're bulletproof, i've used them for weight traning, working on my car, and autocrossing my car at the track, and they've held up really well.

I got a pair of Nike gloves.... they have lasted awhile (1 year) except the stitching is comming off on one finger. nothing too bad I dont wear mine for every excersise so thats also why they might be lasting so long.

I have a pair of Harbinger gloves which have lasted me for 2 years. Granted, there was a period of about a year when I didn't use them at all, but since October, I've used them religiously and these are the best I've seen. Don't skimp on the price, these are thick, padded, and washable.

Call me sick, but I like having calluses. The wife thinks it is sick when I pick off a big chunk, but I have been doing it for years.

I just like to feel the metal. I used to wear gloves when I first started working out. The gym I worked out at over the summer used to tear my hands up. Must have been the type equipment that they had. When I went back to school, the gym there only made small calluses.
