You ate that well at 320?!?! wtf. I figured you'd say something like
3 eggs and bacon w/ hashbrowns (or skipped breakfast)
Huge sub sandwich, cole slaw, chips, coke
Plate of lasagna w/ garlic bread, and ice cream for dessert..
tedpod Fri, January 27th, 2006, 09:22 PM oh shit i did mis understand.....i thought you ment while cutting ....
you want the chubbster menu huh...alrigh here we go...wake up at about 1130 ...go to work about 12...wait till about 2 eat usually panera bread ..id get the tuna sandwich (doesnt sound bad right ..go to there website and check out the tuna sandwich packed with fat boy goodness) and id get a cub of brocolli cheddar soup ..that cam ewith bread..id usually order extra bread and eat someone elses...also cam with chips id have a bag sometimes two...probably a couple of cookiies too..yeah usually 2
haha
then wait all day about 8 or 9 id have maybe the same exact thing all over..or we would order out for some chinese and id get tofu with rice(prob not that bad actually) then about midnight would roll around and id order pizza...i caould crush a large by myself easy ...sometimes a large and some cheese sticks
or wed hud up to taco bell and i would get 4 bean chalupas with no sour cream , a 7 layer burrito, a bean and cheese burrito , andnachos and cheeze..oh dont forget my big ass soda...

Yah man, isn't it crazy to think about how you lived like that...up until a 2 weeks ago I was back to drinking 6+ beers a day, and eating kinda like that but to a smaller scale...
What about the groceries? Did you do the freezer-section type thing? My old roommates would eat like 90% of their meals from frozen meals like burritos, pizzas, hot pockets, that kinda thing...
tedpod Fri, January 27th, 2006, 09:35 PM man ya know osrta..i would eatlike the veggie product stuff(which i still eat..) but instead of having a fake chicken patty i would eat the whole box....oh ant totinos party pizzas..i used to make 2 of them and put them together like one big like stromboli i guess...i mostly just ate out 24/7
Glaive Sat, January 28th, 2006, 05:47 AM I was looking at your diet and was thinking "wow, this is great but I would add some meat.." until I read the end. So never mind that bit of advice. :o
As for your other question, whey is great wherever you feel like you need to bolster your protein intake without adding tons of calories. I have a shake in the morning after my fasted cardio and then again before and after lifting. Lifting fasted isn't really that good of an idea. Most things I've read seem to indicate that you want some protein in your system during lifting, and most definitely some carbohydrates for energy. I normally have a whey shake and some fruit (usually an orange) before I lift, and then have my PWO shake afterwards (hydrolyzed whey, dextrose, maltodextrin). I also take 10g of BCAA's before and after workouts as well, which help both with energy and muscle recovery.
Hope this helps, and like everyone else said great job, man! It's damn impressive to change your lifestyle that much and lose so much weight. Keep it up and stay healthy. Hopefully you'll be a source of motivation for your friends and family to improve their own lives.:claphigh:
harry.michaels Sun, January 29th, 2006, 09:53 AM I'd drink the shake during and after your workout. Congrats on the weight loss, that's a hell of a lot of weight you've dropped. You should be proud.
GraceGirl Sun, January 29th, 2006, 06:28 PM Congrats man!!! That's quite an achievement!!!!!
tashimarie Sun, January 29th, 2006, 07:53 PM good job! keep it up:D
