English isn't my first language, can someone explain what a myotape is and why I need one. (A Swedish translation wouldn't be too bad)

Once it is wrapped around the body part, you press a button which causes the tape to tighten and it gives you a much more consistent measurement. Do you need it? Not really. Is it more accurate than a standard tape measure? Depends on how accurate and consistent you are. In my own opinion, it does make it easier. Don't need a specific 'stretcher' for this I guess. http://sherlock.space2u.com/fitness/images/mattband.jpg Stolen from my wifes sewing kit! I'm going to purchase a myotape (or some similar product), though.. tried using a normal tape measure, and it wasn't that easy to use for measuring some parts of the body (the upper body parts, arms, etc.. the lower body parts are easy) Just an added convenience :D map200uk January 27th, 2004, 06:25 AM Okay, so I guess I'll do with one of those then. MyoTape is just a handy tape measure, flexible tape, i got mine yesterday along with my bodyfat calipers. They arent essential but do prove to be incredibly useful and easy to use:) I got mine 'free' or at least thats what it said on bodybuilding.com when i bought my bodyfat calipers Mark |
