There are some days where I am required to prepare my protein shake the night before (granted this sucks because it does settle overnight..) but insted of taking my multi vitamin bottle with me, I just toss one in and let it dissolve over night. My question is, would this break down the multi in a bad way? Or are all the vitamins just floating around in my shake?

This is a complete guess, but I'd say your fine. But if you want to be safe you could always just take them seperatly in the morning? It's not that big of a hassle is it? :p

The reason for me saying it's fine is because it's all still in the bottle right? and it's airtight correct? so I figure it wouldn't be going anywhere in a hurry :p but then again i'm just guessing.

I don't think the protein's that stable. I believe it breaks down over time. I wouldn't recommend continuing that practice.

I don't see how time is so tight you can't quickly make a shake.

Well, Im a part time firefighter only pulling night shifts, and plus I get up at 6 to head off to school. So, whenever I have to go on duty, I have to pack my own food, clothes and gear needed for the shift. So its kind of a paid to lug around my 4lbs of protein, the non fat milk to mix it with and all that on top of my school bag and my clothes bag. Granted a vitamin bottle is not that much extra, but its kinda just easier to mix it before I leave it and toss it in the fridge at the station...But I guess I can always lug around a little more!

Here's a whacky idea. Put a scoop of protein powder in a baggie.

Buy shaker bottles. Put powder in them. Add water right before you're going to drink it. Shake, drink.

SMART GUY! :p HAHA! I will give it a try. I can picture it now, sluggishly trying to pour powder from a baggie into my nalgene bottle at 6 am...*poof* Cloud of chocolate protein dusting everything...Damnit doordude! Haha! Thanks for the idea though!
