After a year of dumbells and cardio I finally have started counting what I am putting in my body too. I am 38 6'1" and have been 210 - 220 for the most part of this last year. I have new bulk but no new belly and thighs - still have handles and I hate em. I am 215 right now after one week of my current diet (started at 222 after the holidays).
So hopefully my question can be answered by the guru himself as I am basing what I am doing on what John did in his first cutting phase. For one week + one day I have been at about 2100 calories a day almost equilivant amounts of carbs as John (during May 03 - Aug 03) but my fat intake is about 20%-30% higher and my protien intake is about 10%-20% less than John over that same period. I do ride a bike at least three times a week for at least two hours so my cardio may be a bit more than most. My goal is to be 185 by May. I feel I need advice as I a do not have sources besides printed retorhic.
Is my plan too far off? Who can tell me how to find out what will work best? Thanks for taking the time and any response.

Hey, NO ONE can tell you what will work because they don't know you! You can read 1000 different opinions as to what macros are best for you.... I think you should just try to eat clean and take notice of what's going into your body...
adjust as necessary..
