Hi everybody. My name's Matt (M@) and I'm new to the forums. (introduction:end)
I've been trying to get used to the taste and texture of whole-wheat bread, tortillas, pasta, etc. for the past two years and still absolutely despise it. I've come to the conclusion that if I don't enjoy it by now, I never will. I wanted to list my substitutions and see if anybody had any other suggestions or reason why my substitutions were a bad idea:
1. Bread - Pumpernickel, Rye, Marbled Rye
2. Muffin - Oat Bran
3. Tortilla - Vegetable-laced concoctions (sundried tomato, pesto, etc.)
4. Pasta - None...I just choke it down and try not to think about it. Lots of sauce helps.
Thanks in advance for any replies!
